I went to Christchurch airport on September the 7 and I flew to Auckland. This guy called Luke came and got me and my dad from Auckland airport and toke us to the home of rugby league. Then I meet some other kids.  My dad and I and the other kids got in to a van then my dad drove the van to Whakatane. We went to the place we were staying at but all the boys stayed at a home with a pool and the girls stayed at a home with no pool. The girls ever morning went to the boys place and had breakfast then the girls and boys got ready to Referee.

When everyone was ready to go to the park we did then everyone got out of the van we got put with a buddy my buddy was this girl call Antoinette we when to our filed then I got to Referee first we toke terns Referee. when we all were finished our games we went swimming at the pool I went in the spar and in the adult pool I had so much fun on the first day.

The second day was the same as the first day but we didn't go swimming we went to the girls and watch sky TV I went to sleep on my bed but everyone was watching ruby league on sky then me  and my dad went back to the airport then we flow back to  Christchurch then we went back home to sleep.

  2. Hi Mackenzie, thanks for sharing your trip to Whakatane. What a great experience it was for you and your Dad. I'm pleased you got to swim in the pool, fancy not having a pool for the Girls! The next time you post something, it would be a good idea to check your punctuation and spelling to make sure everyone can read your great posts! Mr Roberts
